On March 27, 2015, CBRE hosted its 17th Annual Chefs Showcase at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas. The black-tie gala raises money for Camp John Marc, a camp dedicated to serving children who are living with chronic and terminal illnesses. The most well known chefs in the area are brought together to show off their favorite dishes at the Chefs Showcase. We were thrilled that the chefs from Savory Catering took part this year in the event. Chefs Jonathan Calabrese, Rhett Dukes, and Rachel Boyce served up Wagyu Carpaccio, Spiced Duck Rillette and Take-Home Savory Sliders. Other Chefs came from restaurants including Whiskey Cake, The Capital Grille, and other great restaurants around the Dallas area.
Throughout the event, money is raised through a silent auction and casino, and the best cover band around—The Project provides music. Since the event's inception, CBRE has raised over $1.575 million dollars, which has been donated directly to Camp John Marc to send over 5,800 children to camp.
